Changrui Liu DDS

Dr. Liu obtained his residency training at UCLA School of Dentistry in 1988 and has since then joined the
teaching faculty part time. His West LA office and Agoura Hills office have served their communities for
over 20 years. Patients love Dr. Liu because he embodies the caring and honest
professional.
Dr. Liu also leads a highly qualified team of specialists who are adept at all
phases of dentistry including Orthodontics, Dental Implants, and Periodontics.
Dr. Liu is
married with two sons, and in his free time enjoys gardening and growing organic fruits and vegetables
Dr. Leshin Chen
Perodontist
Dr. Chen graduated magna cum laude from UCLA with a degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics. He then continued his education at UCLA School of Dentistry, where he graduated cum laude with his dental degree. He then completed an additional three- year residency in Post Graduate Periodontics and Dental Implant Surgery at UCLA School of Dentistry. Dr. Chen is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. A Diplomate is a periodontist who has made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty and who is certified by the American Board of Periodontology.
His professional affiliations include memberships in the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Gabriel Valley Dental Society, Los Angeles Dental Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, and Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
During his time at UCLA, he served as Director of the UCLA Asian Dental Free Clinic. He served as a member of the board for the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society. He lectures for UCLA School of Dentistry and Pasadena City College Dental Hygiene Program. He also participates and lectures for various dental study groups for continuing education for dentists.
Recognizing an important need for community service, he is an active volunteer for the “Give Kids A Smile” program. The American Dental Association’s Give Kids A Smile program enhances the oral health of large numbers of needy children. Give Kids A Smile activities also highlight for policy makers the ongoing challenges that low-income families face in finding dental care. Beside English, Dr. Chen speaks Mandarin and Taiwanese. In his spare time he enjoys cooking, swimming, watching sports, and learning about new technologies.
Dr. Ling Zhu
General Dentists
Dr. Ling Zhu earned her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry, followed by her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at
the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Due to her culture and education background, she has
fully understanding of inter-cultural communication and she is fluent in both Chinese and English. She also
volunteered at John Weingart Community Health Center in downtown Los Angeles, Queenscare, and the Community
Health Centers of the Central Coast. After her graduation, she continues to volunteer at Care Harbor Los
Angeles and Give Kids a Smile.
Her professional affiliations include membership in the Academy of
General Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Gabriel Valley Dental
Society, Chinese American Dental Society of Southern California and Punjabi Dental Society.
Dr. Samuel Liu
Oral and Maxillofacil Surgeon
Dr. Samuel Liu is a fellowship-trained oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He completed the prestigious accelerated program through the University of the Pacific, finishing both his undergraduate and dental school studies in 5 years. He then completed a 4-year residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Howard University Hospital located in Washington, D.C. and went on to accept a one-year fellowship in Pediatric Craniomaxillofacial Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. He is also a diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Liu is excited to be back in Southern California where he grew up. Since completing his training, he has been active in the oral surgery community and has been invited to lecture on various topics. Although his passion lies in orthognathic and cleft surgery, he is happy to offer full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgical treatment.
He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Society, West Los Angeles Dental Society, California Dental Society, and the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association.
In his free time, Dr. Liu enjoys reading, hiking, and cooking.
Dr. Eric Chen
Orthodontist
Dr. Eric Chen graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. From there, he was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from UCLA. While at UCLA, he served as Class President and received his certificate in Dental Public Health. Dr. Chen then went on to complete his Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics at UCLA where he concurrently earned a Master’s Degree in Oral Biology.
His world-class training has inspired him to be both passionate and detail-oriented in achieving the best results for his patients. Dr. Chen’s favorite part of practicing orthodontics is the rewarding feeling of giving his patients increased confidence with their amazing smiles.
Outside of orthodontics, Dr. Chen enjoys giving back to the community through public service and research. He has volunteered with the American Dental Association’s program, Give Kids A Smile, and has published and presented his research on bone fracture healing, osteoporosis prevention, and access to care for patients with HIV.
Dr. Eric Chen is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Los Angeles Dental Society. He is bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese.
Dr. Kimberly Chyu
General Dentists
Dr. Kimberly Chyu graduated cum laude from UCLA with a degree in Bioengineering. She continued her education at UCLA School of Dentistry, where she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society. In addition to providing dental care to the Los Angeles population, Dr. Chyu teaches part time as a clinical instructor at the UCLA School of Dentistry. She speaks English, Mandarin, and elementary Spanish.
Dr. Chyu is a member of the Western Los Angeles Dental Society, California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, finding new restaurants (all food recommendations are welcome!) and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Cecilia Wang
Dr. Cecilia Wang is a professional, patient, and caring dentist currently practicing in the West Los Angeles area. She is focused on providing the utmost care to her patients by thoroughly addressing their questions and concerns to ensure stress-free visits. Dr. Wang provides the highest level of care by creating impactful treatments aimed at patient comfort. She enjoys working and helping patients of all ages and backgrounds and is fully dedicated to their smiles. When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Wang is researching and keeping up to date on the latest developments to enhance her skills. She recognizes the importance of earning each patient’s trust.
Dr. Wang is currently an active member of the American Dental Association and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Since receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Dr. Wang has been practicing in the greater Los Angeles area. Dr. Wang completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Wang is fluent in both English and Mandarin. She currently resides in Santa Monica with her son and husband and enjoys spending time outdoors with them.
